Aircraft Narrative

I've had the pleasure of being the third proprietor of this incredible aircraft, and my wife and I affectionately call her "Sierra". While in my care, no expense has been spared at any annual, always at a Cirrus Certified Maintenance Center, to ensure the safety and proper functionality of this aircraft. The aircraft has been hangared for as long as we have had her, and it shows in the excellent condition of the exterior paint of this 19-year-old plane. We will miss Sierra as she has been a joy to fly and has treated us to wonderful memories with flights to places like Sedona, AZ, and Victoria Island, BC. We are making room in our hangar for a 2026 G7+ SR22T, which is why there will be a delay in the handover until August of 2026.

Items that don't readily appear in the equipment list include a new windshield and oxygen tank installed in 2023, and a new composite propeller with a durable nickel leading edge in 2025. JetShades, an upgraded battery, and door seals have also been added recently. While there is no air conditioning installed, it has saved us 65 pounds of useful load, and on the occasional hot day we are including an Arctic Air Portable air conditioner that has permanent switches installed in the center armrest console.

This aircraft had an incident by the first owner who had a botched nighttime landing and a prop strike at around 572 hours, it resulted in repairs to the left wing, nosegear and an engine breakdown, inspection, and top overhaul. I'm happy to report that all repairs were done correctly by Cirrus and the aircraft has had over 1,000 hours of flight proof since the incident and there's no issue with the control or functionality of the aircraft. In fact, the top overhaul has improved the engine reliability, but doesn't officially change the TBO.
